CT should be thinking of ways to encourage growth and control government spending, the two proven ways to have fiscal health. It likely won't as we have become a one-party, socialist state, a sure recipe for disaster.

Given the current state of fiscal affairs, the state needs to get its budget under control, and temporarily eliminating the tax-free week will help, albeit a small amount when compared to the size of the deficit.

Families need a break from the high taxes. How about eliminating spending more than you take in for a change?

Yes, it should be eliminated. With the budget concerns that Connecticut is facing, I believe that the tax-free week should be eliminated.

And construct electronic tolls on borders only.
