Windsor-based Stanadyne today announced plans to open a facility in Dubai in spring 2016. It comes on the heels of an agreement to supply fuel-injection systems to a Pakistani tractor and agricultural machine manufacturer.

The facility will support growing sales in the region and provide technology to meet the requirements for upcoming emissions standards. The new facility is planned to open in April 2016 with its Pakistani partner Millat Tractors Ltd. as one of the first customers. Millat Tractors will use Stanadyne's mechanical rotary pump technology in their 50 to 85 horsepower tractor and genset models.

"Expansion in this region is a strategic opportunity for Stanadyne to grow a presence in the underserved markets of this part of the world," said John Pinson, president and CEO of Stanadyne. "Our regional presence will allow us to deliver key technology in coordination with our customers to address upcoming emissions regulations."

Stanadyne will begin delivering pumps to Millat Tractor Ltd from their Dubai facility in May 2016.
