Comcast names regional VP; Murtha Cullina taps executive director

Comcast has named Evan Broslovsky vice president of customer experience for the company's western New England region, which includes more than 300 communities in Connecticut, western Massachusetts and New York.

Broslovsky previously spent nine years as vice president of contact center operations at Priceline.com, where he managed more than 800 customer-care agents in six locations across the country. Broslovsky was graduated from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, N.J. with a degree in liberal studies.

Murtha Cullina LLP has named Peter S. Blasone executive director of the law firm, which has offices in New Haven, Hartford and Stamford.

A CPA, Blasone has more than 20 years of finance and executive leadership in the legal industry. His experience includes strategic and financial planning, general business management, human resources and recruitment, information technology and marketing and business development.

Blasone will work closely with the firm's accounting department to oversee financial management, including planning, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and improving controls. He will also serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Committee for all matters relating to business functions, overall operations and firm personnel.

Blasone previously was executive director of Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass LLP in New York. He earned an MBA in financial management from Pace University and his bachelor's in business administration from Iona College.

Bill Wohl has been appointed Head of Brand & Communications for United Rentals in Stamford. He will be responsible for brand execution, creative & design, messaging, content strategy, PR and social media.

Wohl comes to United Rentals with more than 30 years of experience in branding, communications and marketing. Most recently, he was the chief communications officer for Commvault, a data-management technology company. Before that he was chief communications officer for Hewlett Packard, and headed worldwide CEO and field communications for SAP.

Wohl holds a degree in public affairs from the University of Delaware.
