The reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year has committed to play again in this year's Travelers Championship in Cromwell, officials said Monday.
Brooks Koepka, who won the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in 2018, will make his fourth appearance at the tournament, held at TPC River Highlands from June 17 to 23.
Koepka is currently ranked second in the world golf rankings and has five career wins on the PGA Tour circuit, including three major championships.
"We are happy to make an announcement of this magnitude so early in the year…" said Andy Bessette, Travelers' executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
Last year, Bubba Watson won his third Travelers Championship title after overcoming a six-stroke deficit on the tournament's final day.
The Travelers Championship, which donates all profits to charities, generated more than $2 million for about 130 charities in 2018, officials said. Watson also donated $200,000 in winnings to the tournament's nonprofit beneficiaries.
